Is it possible to change speed? Is it weatherproof?
ADO Air 20 has a single gear. However, you can choose to use 3 levels of electrical power to assist your ride. Besides, ADO Air 20 is equipped with a smart torque sensor system that provides you immediate power assistance according to terrain. In this case, even if you ride or start the ride on an incline, you will get the assistance you need immediately even with a single gear.
Yes, ADO Air 20 is IPX5 waterproof and the IPS display is IPX7 waterproof, all electronic components are sealed to prevent ingress of heavy rain and dust.
Is ADO Air 20 certified?
According to SGS CE EN15194 and SGS UKCA, ADO Air 20 conforms to the requirements of: Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), and the Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU), and DIN EN 15194:2017, and ADO Air 20 battery complies with UN 38.3 lithium-ion battery testing standards.
How long is the warranty period?
For bike frame, 5 years warranty; For controllers, motors, batteries, forks, head tubes, handlebars, chargers, pedals, flywheels, chainstays: 12 months warranty. Should you encounter some production related manufacturer’s defect during this period, we will take care of it according to our warranty. We bought 2 x Ado Air 20 after lots of research. This e-bike ticked all the boxes for us. Light, foldable and fit easily in our small motorhome. Like the power assist pedal as still wanted to get exercise. Handles all but the steepest hills with our level of fitness. Battery life is great. With aggressive riding, only on 2nd charge after 145kms. For us it is the perfect fit for purpose. Also Mibike provide very good after sale service and no question is too much trouble. Very happy with our Ado Air 20(s)
Great bike, but please correct the size! The folded bike has a width of 40 cm and not 52 cm as shown in the official specs. A width of 40 cm would qualify the Air 20 for Austrian government support. No support for 52 cm is given! Thanks
Well. The bike is good itself. But came with broken seat and rear lamp from the supplier. Fortunately they reacted quickly and sent me the replacements. We are taking family rides and the Air20 is always with us in our camper van.
